JONATHAN GREENis an active performer and teacher in Portland, OR. With a background of training in violin, piano, guitar, and composition she is the Assistant Director of Rose City Music Academy and the Worship Leader and Music Director at West Portland UMC. Noelle studied Vocal Performance with Milagro Vargas at the University of Oregon and received the Outstanding Performer of Voice award. She was a member of the internationally-acclaimed UO Chamber Choir directed by Dr. Sharon Paul for four years during which she sang in the Oregon Bach Festival and was a soloist for international tours and Maestro Matthew Halls. Noelle currently performs throughout the region in various genres, including original compositions in her family’s group Sage Rendezvous. Since moving back to Portland, she regularly records for Oregon Catholic Press and is excited to join the ensemble Capella Romana this year for their performance of Handel’s “Messiah” with the Portland Baroque Orchestra. She is passionate about supporting young, living composers and musicians and is thrilled to continue this as a founding member of Nexus Vocal Ensemble.
